The International Forum “INNOVATION MARKET” is a meeting place of innovators, inventors, manufacturers and vendors of leading innovative technologies, experts in the field of innovation, authors of startup projects, business representatives, representatives of investment and financial institutions, consultants in the field of intellectual property protection.
The forum is held in accordance with the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated November 23, 2016, No. 864-р “On the International Forum “INNOVATION MARKET” holding.
There were more than 300 participants represented at the exhibition area. In particular, the institutes of the National Academy of Sciences, young inventors of the Small Academy of Sciences, the higher educational institutions of the Ministry of Education and Science, start-up projects, authors of inventions and developments have presented their products.
The three-day program of the conference events was devoted to the discussion of a wide range of topics on the development of innovation and investment in education, science, energy, environment, financial and banking sectors.
◊ The first day of the Forum program started with the review of innovation in the field of education; also a round table discussion on the “Strategic foundations of innovative development under conditions of globalization” was held.
◊ On the second day, the state and international programs of support and financing, as well as the most effective tools for the Ukrainian companies to enter international markets were presented to the representatives of small and medium businesses.
◊ On the third day, the experts reviewed practical cases on the start-up projects development and investment attraction.
Also, the Technology and Innovation Support Center (TISC), established on the basis of the National Intellectual Property Office (NIPO), was presented within the implementation program of the State System of Intellectual Property Protection, and the IP Marathon (competition among teams for the best project on the inventions commercialization) was held.
